How To Be Human:Vital Skills For Living An Authentic Life
If you are reading this, you are a human. That means that you struggle with human things. It doesn't matter what country you live in, your skin color, your age, or your socio-economic status - there are universal vital skills necessary for a positive human experience. Unfortunately, many of us struggle to figure out how to 'do' life because these essential skills are not taught to us. However, when we learn these vital skills, life becomes easier and more fulfilling. The experience we have while living our one wild and precious life is, perhaps, the most valuable investment we can make.
As a human, I continue to learn and grow these skills. As a Life Coach, I help people better understand these core tenants of being human so that they can lead more effective lives - and ultimately, get more of what they want.

Chapter One: The Stories We Tell Ourselves
Many things we believe are the "truth" are actually just a deeply engrained "story" in our minds. Becoming an adult (at any age) is the process of examining these stories and deciding for yourself what the truth will be in your life. The day you choose to assume the role of final authority in your life is the day you are set free. This means that your family, your priest, your partner, your parents, your kids, your friends, or society at large - none of them have the authority to decide what your truth is.
You are responsible for examining your unique experience of life and the world around you so that you can effectively move through life on your terms, actively creating the experiences you want. This is true "adulting", and is critical to owning the whole HUMAN you are.
This course will help identify the difference between what is actually happening in your life (data), and the story you are telling yourself about these events. You will learn how to consciously engage with your own story-creation process to gain more control over your thoughts, feelings, and reactions. At the end of this course, you will have the ability to live more authentically and decisively - every single day.

Chapter Two: Navigating Needs
Coming in April 2023
Navigating Needs - Merriam Webster defines the word needs as "of necessity", and lists the words "unavoidable and "involuntary" as synonyms. If this is true, how come so many of us:
#1 - Struggle to be okay with our needs
#2 - Avoid communicating about our needs
#3 - Grapple with establishing healthy boundaries to get our needs met?
The "big T Truth" is that taking the time to discover what our core needs are, and learning how to design a life that meets those needs, is not only one of the most powerful things we can do for ourselves - it is also the most loving thing we can do for those close to us.
