Fees & Other Investments
If you're looking to transform your life through life coaching, you will need to invest 3 things:
- Time
- Money
- Energy
Time
Coaching sessions most commonly occur 1x per week, however I have clients that I work with 2x per month, 1x per month - or even sometimes on an on-call/as needed basis. I'm completely flexible regarding the frequency that we meet. In addition to your time in-session, you'll also need to dedicate at least an hour per week to some kind of time alone for reflection. This can be walking in nature, journaling, meditating, listing to music, or for some people even driving allows them to enter into a state of reflection. When we choose to live intentional lives, we must dedicate time to accessing our inner compass. If we're navigating large changes or personal growth, we require even more time to process and realign ourselves. Additionally, you'll need to dedicate time to doing the homework assignments that you create for yourself. The accomplishment of any goal or transformation requires action, so you must dedicate time to taking new action steps in your life.
The final question that frequently comes up is regarding the duration of the coaching relationship. This is completely flexible. Some clients I meet with once, others I work with for years. The most common duration is 4-8 months. My job, as your coach, is to help you meet your goals within your desired timeline. During your consultation or first session, we'll outline your goals and timeline and I'll let you know if I believe that I can help you meet your metrics, or if I feel that we need to make adjustments.

Money
Coaching sessions are most commonly between $95 - $195/per session, and all text and email communication between sessions are included in that price. However, we must acknowledge that $100 does not hold the same value for every person. Knowing this, I always have a conversation with my clients about what they can afford to pay and what I can afford to accept. The exchange of money is something that I want both of us to feel good about. There are times when I work with a client for as little as $45/hr, if we are a good match, and all of the circumstances align. I also always allow tipping on my invoices, so if you feel that the value I provided was more than our agreed rate, you are welcome to acknowledge that with a monetary tip. Finally, I always offer discounts for a commitment to a package of sessions (8 sessions = 10% off, 12 sessions = 20% off), and this can be paid in one installment, or invoiced monthly.
Energy
Everything in life is an investment of energy. As the "spoon theory" so brilliantly captures, each of us have a different amount of energy at the start of the day, and specific tasks take a variable amount of energy depending on our level of health and wellness. Depending on your level of stress, health conditions, neuro engagement with the world, environment, or personality type - you will have a variable amount of energy to invest in your transformation or goals. Wherever you are at, and whatever energy you have is perfectly okay and wonderful, but it helps to have an accurate self assessment of where you are at so that we know how to scale your coaching sessions. We'll talk more about this at the start of, and during, the coaching relationship.
